Countdown to Halloween

removed-for-publication-copy.jpg

I made this Countdown to Halloween for a contest at Create My Keepsake. I intended to make this on a cookie sheet and use magnets to hold the “days” in place. But I didn’t have a cookie sheet on had, so I dug through my stash to see what I could find. This frame was the best thing I could find, and really it turned out perfectly….once I figured out how to make the letters/shapes stick to the glass….yet still be removable. The wonders of 2-way glue was my answer. I just covered the back of the chipboard pieces with the glue and let it dry. This particular glue dries tacky…and it’s just tacky enough to hold the chipboard to the glass. I love this project and it was all created with supplies I had on hand (even better) and Allie just loves to add pieces to it every single day.
